This is an excellent opportunity for fully qualified and experienced motor trade professionals seeking a challenging role with a reputable employer. Our client, a franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group operating nationally for over 50 years and recognised with multiple industry awards, is hiring a skilled LCV/Van Technician for their busy Westbury location.
As the LCV/Van Technician, you will report directly to the Workshop Controller and be an integral part of a friendly, professional team. Your primary responsibilities will include completing all service and maintenance tasks to the highest standards, adhering to manufacturer schedules, and supporting colleagues with technical expertise.

- Starting salary up to £18 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Attractive performance-related bonus scheme
- Weekly shift allowance with alternating early/late shifts: 6:00am-2:30pm and 1:30pm-10:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Overtime available and paid at 1.5 times regular rate
- Potential on-target earnings of approximately £44,000 per annum
- 30 days annual leave, including bank holidays

Duties:
- Perform all service, inspections, and repairs on light commercial vehicles efficiently and to the manufacturer's standards
- Conduct comprehensive diagnosis and repairs of vehicle malfunctions
- Document all work carried out, including diagnoses, repairs, service reports, and safety inspections
- Support team members with technical issues and workflow efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge through ongoing training and accreditation
Requirements for the LCV/Van Technician position:
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Ideally, at least 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in vehicle servicing and repair
- A fully committed individual with a proactive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Motivated to meet targets and deliver exceptional customer service
