Part‑Time Early Years Role Supporting Children at Lunchtime
We are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our established Bromsgrove nursery as a part‑time Nursery Practitioner, supporting children and staff during the lunchtime period. This lunchtime nursery role is ideal if you’re seeking flexible hours, a school‑friendly schedule, or a reliable midday Early Years support role.
Working across rooms, you’ll help create a calm, nurturing experience for children during mealtimes, rest periods and transitions – making this an important and valued role within our friendly nursery team.
About YouThis role would suit an Early Years Practitioner / Childcare Practitioner who has:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS and confidence supporting children across age groups
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- A warm, calm approach and the ability to adapt across different nursery rooms
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive nursery team
- Provide high‑quality care and supervision during lunchtimes
- Support mealtimes, rest routines and smooth transitions
- Work flexibly across the nursery to support staff and children
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and well‑organised environment
- Promote children’s wellbeing through positive, reassuring interactions
