About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join Further Education college in London.

You will support students in overcoming behavioural, emotional, and social barriers to learning, helping them stay engaged, improve attendance, and achieve their academic goals. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural needs
* Implement behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment
* Identify barriers to learning and develop tailored support plans
* Monitor and track student behaviour, attendance, and progress
* Work closely with teaching staff, safeguarding teams, and support services
* Support students in developing confidence, resilience, and social skills
* Liaise with parents/carers and external agencies where required
* Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing initiatives across the college

About You
* Experience working with young people or adults with behavioural or additional needs
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner

Desirable:
* Experience in an FE College or educational setting
* Knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour management strategies
* Relevant qualification in education, youth work, or support work
