Look no further as we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the efficient delivery of first-class corporate facilities maintenance services.

As an engineering technician you will principally support the corporate property engineering and maintenance team in delivering excellent external public spaces, delivering maintenance service, as well as developing, delivering, and overseeing repairs and maintenance of our Council’s open car parks, footways, paved areas commercial property portfolio. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our estate facilities are well maintained and operate safely.

This is a diverse role in a busy team, and the applicant will need to have broad experience or a desire to learn and grow. You must be able to manage multiple requests for support and workstreams delivering support for residents, businesses and visitors, you will be proficient in report creation, organising inspection schedules and following up actions, especially repairs and planned maintenance.

You will need to be a driven self-starter, organise your own workload and have excellent communication skills with customers and within the team.
