CLIINCAL SPECIALIST PHYSIOTHERAPIST WOMEN'S HEALTH

FIXED TERM TO 04.12.26 WITH A POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION. 26 HOURS WEEKLY, BAND 7

An exciting opportunity has arisen for aClinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Women’s Healthto join our Outpatient Women’s Health service, including Obstetrics and Breast Surgery Physiotherapy, based atQueen’s Hospital Burton. You will be part of a friendly, skilled, and forward‑thinking Women’s Health and MSK Therapy Team.

We are seeking a motivated physiotherapist with advanced assessment and clinical reasoning skillsacross a diverse and complex MSK and Women’s Health caseload. You should be able to provide a clear working diagnosis and develop individualised treatment plans. Our service receives referrals from primary care, midwives, obstetricians, emergency departments, consultants, and staff self‑referrals. The wider therapy team includes MSK, Rheumatology, Hand Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Osteopathy, Clinical Specialists, Advanced Practitioners, and a Consultant Physiotherapist.

In this role, you will work primarily in Women’s Health Physiotherapy Outpatients, acting as the departmental clinical lead for the advanced assessment and management of patients with highly complex needs. A full induction and competency support package will be provided if required.
