Summary
Junior Pricing Analyst
£26,000 - £35,000
Wolverhampton
Overview
We are one of the UK’s leading and fastest-growing refurbished phone companies, and we’re on track to become a household name within the next few years.
We’re looking for a Junior Pricing Analyst to join our team.
This is an entry-level role, and while we will train you on the industry and how to apply pricing strategies within it, this is not a “learn everything from scratch” position.
You must already be able to demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking, with the confidence to work through data and make reasoned decisions. Pricing in our business is strategic, it’s not simply about being the cheapest in the market. We’re looking for someone who can think critically, understand patterns, and apply structured reasoning from day one, then build on that with industry-specific knowledge over time.
If you’re not naturally analytical or comfortable working with data, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
You’ll be working with data every day, helping us set prices that keep us competitive in a fast-moving market. This isn’t just a short-term job — as the company grows, this role will grow too. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a Pricing Analyst and eventually develop into managing a team of analysts.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Looking at competitor prices and stock levels using our in-house tools.
• Checking how our products are selling and how quickly stock moves.
• Helping set prices based on sales trends, demand, and market conditions.
• Working with product variations such as different storage sizes and conditions.
• Reporting on what’s working and what isn’t, and sharing ideas with the team.
• Learning how to balance competitiveness with profitability.
• Working with urgency — because refurbished phone values can change quickly.
• Communicating confidently with colleagues and sharing your thoughts without being chased.
What We’re Looking For
• Strong with numbers and logical thinking.
• Good Excel skills (or willing to learn quickly).
• Analytical mindset — enjoy looking at data and spotting patterns.
• Quick thinker with good judgement.
• Comfortable making decisions and acting with urgency.
• Confident communicator — able to explain your reasoning clearly.
• Organised, methodical, and accurate in your work.
• Curious and eager to learn about eCommerce and pricing.
Company Perks:
• Career progression
• Free onsite parking
• Up to 28 days paid holiday
• Birthday off and paid (following year 2, no annual leave used)
• Extra day of annual leave every year from year 2
• Salary sacrifice schemes
• Private pension scheme
• Equal opportunities employer (since 1999)
• Recession Proof Industry
• Staff discounts
• Team social events and days out
