Summary
EYFS Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible (flexible working considered)

Duties as EYFS Teacher:
- Teach within an open‑plan EYFS setting alongside another teacher
- Work collaboratively as part of a shared EYFS team, planning together and supporting both classes
- Deliver engaging, play‑based and structured EYFS learning experiences
- Contribute to shared planning, observations, and assessments
- Support early literacy, phonics, numeracy, communication, and social development
- Work closely with a strong staff team including full‑time and part‑time Teaching Assistants
- Maintain consistent routines and positive behaviour approaches
- Adapt teaching to meet a range of developmental needs, including SEND
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise child welfare
Ideal EYFS Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with EYFS experience
- Confident working in an open‑plan, team‑teaching environment
- Strong understanding of early years pedagogy and child development
- Happy to collaborate closely with another teacher and support staff
- Flexible approach to working patterns, including 4 days per week or job share
- Warm, nurturing, and proactive teaching style
- Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
