Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming Primary School in Fleetwood, starting after May half term.
This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), helping them to access learning, develop social skills and feel supported within the classroom environment.
- 1:1 SEN support for a child with ASC in Year 1
- Supporting learning, communication and emotional regulation
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
- Providing consistency, reassurance and positive behaviour support
- Full-time, term-time position
- Experience working with children with ASC or SEN, ideally in a primary setting
- A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Relevant qualifications or training (desired but not essential)
- Competitive weekly pay
- Ongoing support from a dedicated local consultant
- Access to FREE CPD and SEN-focused training
- Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive primary school
- Potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
