Summary

AREA MANAGER MATERNITY COVER (FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

LOCATION: Doncaster, DN4 5HX

CONTRACT: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover)

SALARY: £41,200

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Area Manager to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. This is a key leadership role overseeing multiple supported living services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for overseeing 8 Supported Living services, supporting 34 individuals with their own tenancies. The people we support have a range of needs including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and some complex health needs.

This is a Local Authority contracted service and includes CQC registered personal care, delivering approximately 3,000 hours of care per week.

You will provide leadership and support to 7 Supported Living Managers, ensuring services are compliant, effective, and aligned with organisational values and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

o Provide leadership and line management to Supported Living Managers
o Ensure high-quality, safe, and person-centred care delivery
o Maintain compliance with CQC standards and contractual requirements
o Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement
o Participate in the on-call rota (approximately 1 week in 5)
o Work flexibly to meet business needs (occasional weekends may be required)


WORKING PATTERN

o Typically Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm
o Flexibility required depending on service needs
o No sleep-ins required


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

o Full UK manual driving licence
o Access to a vehicle for work purposes
o Proven experience in managing multiple services within health and social care
o Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and supported living services
o Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
