We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cook to work for our client in Camden and surrounding areas.
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while accommodating a variety of dietary requirements. This role requires strong kitchen skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities of Cook:
•Prepare, cook, and present meals in line with established recipes and standards
•Ensure all meals meet dietary requirements, including allergen awareness and special diets (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.)
•Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
•Assist with menu planning, including adapting dishes for varied dietary needs
•Monitor food stock levels and support with ordering and stock rotation
•Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment
•Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
•Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
Working hours for Cook: Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 13:30pm
Requirements of Cook:
•Previous experience working as a cook or in a similar kitchen role
•Experience preparing meals for a range of dietary requirements and restrictions
•Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
•Good communication and teamwork skills
•Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
•Experience in catering for large groups, or hospitality setting
