Summary

You will join an enthusiastic countywide team supporting children and young people with disabilities in Lincolnshire. For us, great work starts with great people; those who enjoy being part of a dynamic team, working closely with colleagues across health and social care.

You will be based in the Sleaford office and work under the guidance of the Occupational Therapy team to provide a safe, child-focused, needs-led service to assist children to maximise opportunities for personal development and independence.

You will cover duty daily which will primarily be office based. You will hold and manage a caseload of service users under the guidance of a qualified Occupational Therapist, providing a range of equipment, arranging minor adaptation work and teaching alternative techniques to increase independence with daily activities.

We are committed to supporting Occupational Therapy students; actively building links with the local universities both as placement educators and as guest lecturers. We have team members who are involved in promoting Occupational Therapy at a county and national level, working to promote good practice. These activities reflect our drive to provide a high-quality, evidence-based service.
