You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, provide professional leadership to frontline staff, and ensure that all care plans are safe, person‑centred and outcome‑focused. Working closely with health and social care partners, you will drive service quality, monitor performance, and ensure the delivery of high‑impact, strengths‑based reablement support.
This role is suitable for experienced operational managers from adult social care, including those with professional qualifications such as Occupational Therapy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Reablement Service, ensuring safe, effective and high‑quality practice.
Provide professional oversight and guidance to therapy staff and in‑house home care teams.
Ensure care plans are person‑centred, strengths‑based and aligned with reablement goals.
Oversee daily operations, staffing, workflow and service delivery across the team.
Work collaboratively with NHS partners, social workers, therapists and community services.
Monitor performance, quality standards and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with statutory duties, safeguarding responsibilities and council policies.
Support staff development, reflective practice and a positive team culture.
Contribute to strategic planning and service development initiatives within Adult Social Care.
About You
You will bring:
Strong leadership experience within adult social care, reablement, therapy services or home care.
A professional qualification (e.g., OT, Social Work, Nursing) – OTs welcomed.
A track record of managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Strong decision‑making, communication and problem‑solving skills.
