Summary
I.C.T Technician – Full-time, long-term temporary role from April 2026 until the end of the academic year (37 hours per week)

Duties as I.C.T Technician:
- Provide first‑ and second‑line technical support to staff and pupils
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems
- Support classroom technology, including interactive screens and devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and inventory of ICT equipment
- Respond promptly to technical issues and service requests
- Support data security, safeguarding, and acceptable use policies
- Liaise with external providers where required
- Contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day operation of school ICT systems
Ideal I.C.T Technician:
- Previous experience in an ICT support or technician role
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common applications
- Basic understanding of networks, hardware, and troubleshooting
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical users
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
- Reliable and professional with a strong attention to detail
- Committed to safeguarding and maintaining data security
