Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 4 Team Leader to join the award-winning Therapies Department at Whipps Cross Hospital. You’ll be working within a supportive and friendly team, overseeing administrative staff at Whipps Cross and across our satellite sites at Wanstead and Chingford Hospitals.
• Lead a team of Band 2/3 receptionists and secretaries, managing their daily tasks and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
• Supporting attendance, including sickness and leave requests, via electronic systems.
• Deputise for the Admin Manager as needed and support with staff development and training.
• Oversee and maintain the staff administration rota, ensuring sufficient coverage across all sites.
• Handle patient and staff enquiries and assist with front-line reception duties.
• Collaborate with the Therapy Service Manager, Admin Manager, physiotherapists, and other support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• You will be required to work across Whipps Cross, Chingford, and Wanstead Hospitals, which may include evening shifts.
• E-Referral system knowledge is essential for processing GP referrals, with training available for CRS familiarity.
• Communication and computer skills are key to success in this role.
