Salary: £23,500 – £25,000

On behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Sheffield area, we are seeking a dedicated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those due to graduate this academic year who are considering a long-term career in education.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist teachers in providing tailored support to help children overcome barriers
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Roles available with immediate start until the end of the academic year
September starts also available

Who We’re Looking For:

Graduates with a 2:2 degree or above (Education, Psychology, or core subjects preferred)
Individuals with a caring, patient, and proactive approach
Recent experience working with children or young people preferred but not essential (school-based or otherwise)

An interest in supporting pupils with additional needs


Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

About the Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include working closely with individual pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as supporting small groups within the classroom. You will collaborate with experienced teachers to provide essential support and give these pupils the best opportunity to reach their personal goals.
