Summary
A Vacancy at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible Band 3 Healthcare assistant to join our Ear, Nose and Throat outpatient team.
The role will support the day to day running and preparation of both booked and emergency clinics, seeing both adults and children.
The department supports a number of diagnostic procedures which are performed in an outpatient setting.
To care for patients attending the Main Outpatient department as delegated by the Nurse in charge which may include collection of specimens, observations assistance with sterile procedural clinics and chaperoning.
Participate in Infection Prevention and Control Measures within the Department. Using patient information systems, participate in the data input of patient information.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Report to the Nurse in charge and document in accordance with Trust policy with regards to any concerns to safeguarding e.g. child protection and vulnerable adults.
