Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Regional Manager to oversee the delivery, quality and performance of Diabetic Eye Screening Programmes (DESPs) across a national region. InHealth continues to be a proud supporter of the Diabetic Eye Screening Programmes across NHS England and, since 2011, has grown to offer fully managed services across the country. InHealth supports over 5 million patients annually and provides leading information management solutions across diabetic eye screening, population data analysis and Child Health Information Services (CHIS). Working closely with clinical and operational leads, commissioning bodies and quality assurance teams, you will ensure programmes are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with national standards. This is a remote role and involves regular national travel, including some overnight stays. What You Will Do Lead and oversee the operational performance of DESPs across your region. Support Programme Managers and Clinical Leads to maintain strong Internal Quality Assurance processes aligned to national guidance. Contribute to bid preparation, tender writing and mobilisation of new programmes. Drive change management activities to support teams transitioning through tender processes into businessasusual operations. Manage compliance across subcontracting arrangements, audits, risk registers, incident reporting and business continuity. Monitor programme budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved. Support External Peer Reviews, KPI submissions and contractual performance reporting. Represent InHealth internally and externally when required. Review and update protocols, procedures and service processes to support continuous improvement. Lead on projects, performance improvements and monthly programme assessments. Participate in national networks, conferences and development events. Coordinate and attend key meetings including Programme Boards, Clinical Lead meetings, Incident Management meetings and national DESP networks.
