Duties of the Vehicle Technician role:
- Conduct vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to industry standards
- Perform MOT testing and ensure vehicles meet all safety and emissions regulations
- Maintain accurate and detailed completion of repair and service documentation
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding findings and recommendations
- Adhere strictly to workshop health and safety procedures
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
Requirements for the role:
- Current MOT Tester qualification with relevant testing experience
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
- Commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship
