Summary
Class 1 Shunter Driver - Preston
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Driver to join our team in Preston.
Shift Pattern:
- Start time: Midnight (00:00)
- Night shifts
Pay Rate:
- £15.28 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Shunting trailers safely around the yard
- Parking and allocating trailers to loading bays
- Conducting vehicle checks and following safety procedures
- Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth yard operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of yard safety and operations
- Reliable and able to commit to night shifts
