Summary
We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Children and Families Safeguarding Team.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years equivalent post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.
About the team
This team is responsible for dealing with the most vulnerable and in need of protection children in the borough. Working proactively, with a child-centred approach to each case to ensure successful case progression is central to this team's ethos. The team pride themselves on their ability to effectively and efficiently make decisions on cases at all stages of crisis intervention.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contracts is essential in order to be considered for this position. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a children's frontline safeguarding Social Work team as well as key experience in initial court proceedings. Driving is essential for this role.
