Summary

CNC Press Brake Operator

Salary: £14.50 - £15.00 per hour

Are you ready to kickstart your career in engineering? Our client is seeking a passionate and motivated CNC Press Brake / Punch / Powder Coater Trainee to join their dynamic team. Located at Fenton Industrial Estate, you will be working primarily with thin sheet metal, including mild and stainless-steel ranging from 1mm to 6mm. If you have at least three years of engineering experience with a strong focus on press operations, our client wants to hear from you!

The ideal candidate will possess:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience within the engineering sector, specifically in sheet metal work.

- At least 1 years' experience operating Press Brakes.

- Familiarity with engineering drawings and the ability to interpret them accurately.

- A willingness and enthusiasm to be trained in other engineering processes.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Excellent problem-solving skills.

- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.

- A forklift license.

Working arrangements:

- Monday to Thursday, 6:55am to 3:55pm and Friday, 6:55am to 12:55pm - overtime may be available depending on workload.

- 28 days holiday entitlement including bank holidays.

- Rate of pay between £14.50 - £15.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Operate and maintain CNC Press Brake and Punch machinery.

- Work from engineering drawings to produce high-quality sheet metal components.

- Assist in the preparation and powder coating processes.

- Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the production process.
