Summary
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning and provision of specialist nursing advice working as part of a multi-professional expert team caring for children and young people on a palliative care or end of life pathway. You will be act as a role model for excellent advanced communication skills and expertise and demonstrate skills in conflict resolution and competent negotiation skills when dealing with difficult or challenging situations. You will provide clinical supervision to other staff, students and may take part in research & lead clinical audits in this specialist area. The post holder will ensure the safety and wellbeing of services users, and always working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights through the adoption of person centred care principles.
