Summary
We are seeking a friendly, reliable and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support to a lady who is hard of hearing. The role involves assistance with morning routines and support during meal times, helping her to remain independent and comfortable in her own home.
This position would suit someone who is patient, respectful and able to communicate clearly, with an understanding and supportive approach.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Support with morning routines
Assistance with personal care as required
Support during meal times, including meal preparation and encouragement with eating
Light household tasks related to care
Providing reassurance and companionship
Supporting independence and dignity at all times.
The ideal candidate will be:
Kind, patient and understanding
Reliable and punctual
Able to communicate clearly and calmly
Respectful of personal boundaries and privacy
Willing to adapt to individual needs and routines
Experience working with individuals who are hard of hearing is desirable but not essential, as training and guidance can be provided.
