The Eating Disorder Service was established in 2002 and has developed significantly in size and scope over more than 20 years. The majority of services are provided at South Kensington & Chelsea Mental Health Unit (SK&C MHU), with further outpatient facilities in North West London. The directorate provides specialist services for children, young people (CYP) and adults with all types of eating disorders. The foundations of the directorate are strong, with a full range of multidisciplinary staff and 6 consultant colleagues. There has been significant new investment in all age services over the last 2 years, increasing capacity in both CYP and adult services, and supporting significant service developments. In this context, we are also looking for an experienced and dynamic consultant to take the service into the future as its new Clinical Director.
