The Role
We are looking for a highly capable and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has spent a number of years in the trade and is confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing issues, carrying out repairs, and completing servicing work across a wide range of Ford Transit models. You’ll be expected to quickly assess jobs, identify faults accurately, and carry out repairs efficiently without the need for constant supervision. We’re looking for someone who can come in, get stuck into the workload, and keep jobs moving through the workshop to a high standard.
The role will involve a mix of mechanical and electrical work, from routine servicing and maintenance through to more complex fault finding and repairs. Experience with vans—particularly Ford Transits—is highly desirable, as is the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
-Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Ford Transit vehicles
-Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment
-Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard
-Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes
-Maintain a clean and organised workspace
-Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements
-Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
-Strong knowledge of Ford Transit vehicles (preferred but not essential)
-Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
-Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
-Full UK driving licence
-Relevant qualifications
-Own tools
