Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Surgical Specialties Division at University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, for a talented Assistant General Manager to manage our benign urology service.
We are looking for a dynamic leader, who is passionate about quality, patient-centred care, and our people. You will work closely with the wider MDT to support the operational running of the department while also driving improvement across the clinical services.

The Assistant General Manager in Uro-Oncology is an exciting role, providing key operational leadership across 6 different sub-specialities (Female, Functional and Adolescent Urology, Reconstructive Urology, Stones and Endoluminal Urology, Andrology and General Urology.)
The role is pivotal to the successful delivery of excellent urology care for patients and manages the benign urology administrative team. The admin team support a busy outpatient service, as well as management of inpatient pathways and admissions at WMS and UCH.
The benign service is highly specialist, receiving referrals from across the UK and beyond. The successful candidate will be expected to drive forward performance improvement in Urology, implementing new transformation initiatives whilst maintaining a strong handle on key performance metrics. They will identify opportunities for improvement and growth, and contribute towards business planning and strategy for the service.
