Summary
Weekend Barista – Coffee & Clay Café & Pottery Studio (Skipton)
(Shifts in week maybe if required - discussed at interview)
This role is ideally suited to a school leaver or college student (age 16+) looking for a weekend and summer position, with the opportunity for additional weekday shifts if desired.
If you enjoy working in a busy, creative environment and take pride in making great drinks and happy customers, we would love to hear from you.
What we’re looking for:
• Some barista or café experience preferred (training can be provided for the right person)
• Confidence or interest in learning espresso preparation and milk steaming
• Friendly, energetic and confident with customers
• Able to work at least one weekend shift every week
• A reliable team player who enjoys being busy
• Local to Skipton or the immediate area
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Serious applicants only
About the role:
The role combines preparing and serving drinks (especially coffee), customer service and helping maintain a clean and well-organised café environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Preparing hot and cold drinks
• Taking customer orders and operating the till
• Delivering friendly customer service
• Keeping the café clean and presentable
• Restocking and general café support
• Supporting the team during busy periods
Barista skills are desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.
