3 days remote, 2 days in the office

Hybrid working, with 3 days expected in the office and 2 days working from home.


The Single Point of Access Team acts as the first point of contact, receiving requests for information, advice and assistance to support children and families and also to investigate safeguarding concerns.

The Single Point of Access Team brings key professionals together to facilitate early information sharing to support families and safeguard children. This is achieved by collating information from different agencies to inform interventions to achieve the best outcomes for children.

An Assistant Team Manager in SPOA will predominantly be managing our inbox, making decisions on referrals in terms of the local authorities initial response, they will be supporting and supervising social workers, reviewing cases and making decisions whether allocation is needed and attending meetings including Strategy Discussions and Strategy Meetings. Knowledge of the law in Wales including Section 5 is essential.
