Summary

Nurse Functional Assessor – Hybrid Role

Summary
Permanent Nurse Functional Assessor roles for registered nurses seeking weekday hours in a structured, non‑treatment assessment role. This hybrid position is based in Glasgow with a strong focus on quality, dignity, and claimant experience. Full and part time options available.

Overview
Salary: £27,635 to £37,010 + benefits. Hybrid working with face‑to‑face assessments delivered from modern consultation centres in Glasgow. Fully remote working is not available.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. No nights. No weekends. No shift work.
Full time and part time hours available, minimum 22.5 hours per week (3 days).

Eligibility: Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years post‑registration experience. Right to Work in the UK required.

What you’ll do

Complete face‑to‑face functional assessments for Personal Independence Payment
Explore how health conditions affect daily living and mobility
Apply structured functional assessment guidance consistently
Produce clear, evidence‑based written reports
Deliver assessments in a respectful and claimant‑focused manner
Work within clinical governance and peer support frameworks

What you’ll need

Current registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years post‑registration clinical experience
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and report‑writing skills
Professional, empathetic, and quality‑focused approach
Interest in functional assessment and disability analysis
Confident IT skills and ability to meet quality standards
