About the Role:
Step into a senior leadership role as Third in Charge, supporting the management team in delivering outstanding Early Years provision. You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards and supporting staff development.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare (UK recognised)
- Proven experience in a senior practitioner or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager and Deputy in leading the nursery
- Oversee daily operations and ensure quality standards
- Lead and mentor nursery practitioners
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements
- Support staff training and development
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
- Build positive partnerships with parents and families
- Cover management responsibilities in senior staff absence
