Summary
The Role
As a Dental Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient base. This includes routine examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivering a wide range of NHS and/or private treatments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality general dentistry in line with current clinical guidelines
Diagnose oral health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
Carry out a range of treatments including fillings, extractions, crowns, and preventative care
Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with GDPR and GDC standards
Promote oral health education and preventative care to patients
Work collaboratively with dental nurses, hygienists, and other team members
Ensure compliance with all cross-infection control, health and safety, and CQC requirements
Requirements
BDS or equivalent recognised dental qualification
Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
Performer number (required for NHS work)
Valid indemnity insurance
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in both NHS and private dentistry
Interest in cosmetic or specialist treatments (e.g. Invisalign, implants, facial aesthetics)
Commitment to ongoing professional development
