Summary

Teaching Assistant (Level 2+ ideally)

About the Role
We are currently working with a number of primary and secondary schools across Hertford who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or above) to join their teams.

These roles offer the opportunity to support pupils across a range of year groups, contributing to a positive learning environment and helping students reach their full potential. Positions are available on both a long-term and flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with pupils
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN where required
- Helping to prepare classroom materials and resources
- Promoting a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment

Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with children or within an education setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
