Summary
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Van Delivery Driver to join our team. We are a leading food manufacturer and distributor to the hospitality industry in Glasgow and the West, operating since 2007.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods. This role requires heavy lifting, excellent route planning skills, and a friendly, professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Safely load and unload the van, following all food hygiene and temperature controls.
Plan efficient driving routes to meet delivery deadlines.
Perform heavy lifting as required to handle goods.
Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM.
Six Saturdays are required across November and December.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Prior delivery or driving experience is a plus, but not required.
Training and Support:
Full training will be provided on food hygiene and temperature controls, as well as our delivery processes.
