As the organisation continues to grow, were looking for a highly organised and confident professional to join us as Senior Administrator (CQC Registered Manager). This is a key leadership role at the heart of our business, ensuring our administrative systems, compliance processes and regulatory standards remain robust and responsive. Job Summary The Senior Administrator will lead the coordination of all administrative activity within YorMed Ambulance Service and hold legal responsibility as the CQC Registered Manager. They will ensure ongoing compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and support the leadership team in driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Main duties and responsibilities Act as the CQC Registered Manager for YorMed Ambulance Service, maintaining full awareness of the regulation, inspection and reporting requirements. Lead and manage administrative operations including HR documentation, rota management, governance systems and recordkeeping. Develop, maintain and audit internal policies, procedures and quality systems in line with CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs). Work closely with the Managing Director and senior team to ensure safe, effective, caring and responsive service delivery. Linemanage administrative and compliance staff, supporting performance, development and wellbeing. Coordinate internal audits, investigations and incident reporting; ensure action plans and learning are embedded. Act as the main point of contact for regulatory and contractual partners, preparing for inspections and reviews. Maintain accurate personnel, vehicle and operational records in accordance with GDPR and data protection legislation. Identify and implement opportunities for service improvement, operational efficiency and staff engagement. Champion YorMeds values and commitment to patientfocused, highquality care. Person specification Education and qualifications GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent) Essential Knowledge of CQC standards and the Health and Social Care Act 2008 Essential Management, administration or health and social care qualification (Level3or higher) Desirable Additional compliance, governance or data protection training Desirable Experience Significant experience in administrative or compliance management within a healthcare or regulated setting Essential Experience leading or supervising staff Essential Experience as a CQC Registered Manager Desirable Experience coordinating audits and inspections Desirable Skills and abilities Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail Confident communicator with clear written and verbal skills Sound understanding of governance, risk management and confidentiality Competent in Microsoft365 and digital record systems Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Personal qualities Integrity, professionalism and accountability Calm and adaptable under pressure Natural leader and team builder Commitment to ongoing learning and service improvement Additional information This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Occasional travel to other YorMed sites may be required. Flexibility may be needed for meetings or activities outside standard office hours.
