We are currently looking for a Cover HGV Class 1 Driver and Shunter with a current C+E (Class 1).
This is a full-time, permanent role working Tuesday – Saturday providing holiday cover for our HGV Class 1 Fridge Drivers and Shunters. As this is a cover role, flexibility is required with the hours and you will be working a mixture of Days and Nights, dependent on when the cover is needed. You will be guaranteed a full-time salary.
Job requirements of Cover HGV Class 1 Driver and Shunter:
· To transport our products around the UK.
· Planning route on a day-to-day basis
· Moving trailers around the site.
· Vehicle and trailer washing.
· To be flexible and a team player.
What you will need:
· C + E (CLASS 1) License
· Willing to do early mornings and nights-out as and when required.
· Previous experience preferred.
· Flexible attitude to work as you would fill in and/or cover absence of other drivers.
· Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
· Current CPC
Pay and benefits:
Salary – £172.00 per day, plus £40 per week attendance bonus.
Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
