Duties as a MOT Tester:
- Conduct Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair tasks on diverse vehicle makes and models
- Complete MOT documentation accurately and efficiently
- Ensure workshop compliance with all DVSA and company regulations
- Identify and advise on safety concerns or additional repair requirements
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Collaborate effectively with workshop colleagues and front-of-house team members
Requirements:
- Valid MOT Tester licence (Class 4 essential)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting MOT tests
- Strong mechanical knowledge and repair skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, hardworking, and a team player
- Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Full UK manual driving licence
