Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA)Salary: Grade E - £28,476 -£29,470Location: LeylandHours: 36.5hrs per week | Permanent | Independent Domestic Violence Advocate, Opportunity to Make a DifferenceAre you a compassionate professional, dedicated to supporting survivors?Key, part of the DASSL (Domestic Abuse Support Services Lancashire) network of domestic abuse providers in Lancashire, is a leading charity delivering critical support and is seeking an exceptional Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to help transform lives and provide hope to those experiencing domestic abuse.For 30 years, Key Unlocking Futures has been a beacon of support, providing critical intervention and support to people across Lancashire, catching people before they fall and helping those in crisis find their feet. Each year, we help more than 7000 people across Lancashire achieve their potential, with our Domestic Abuse services playing a crucial role in supporting survivors and their families.We're looking for someone passionate about supporting individuals experiencing domestic abuse, with a proven track record in providing trauma-informed specialist case management and advocacy to victims at medium and high risk of domestic abuse. What We're Looking For: An Experienced SpecialistConfident in delivering high-quality case management and advocacy for individuals at medium and high risk of domestic abuse.Knowledgeable in risk assessment, safety planning, and multi-agency coordination. A Compassionate AdvocatePassionate about empowering survivors and ensuring their voices are heard.Able to represent clients effectively at MARRAC and support their recovery within Key’s integrated domestic abuse services. Digitally Skilled & OrganisedComfortable using digital tools to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively. Focused on delivering outcome-driven support with professionalism and attention to detail. Car Driver with access to your own vehicleDue to the community-based nature of this role, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
