The Role
The Governing Board of High Lawn Primary & Nursery School wish to appoint a Level 4 Teaching Assistant to plan and teach in year groups across the school, providing PPA and/or Management cover as well as other cover as needed.
About You
We are looking for an individual who:
- has experience of supporting pupils learning in a range of classroom settings;
- has experience of being at least a Teaching Assistant Level 3 in a primary school;
- is a holder of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant Accreditation or equivalent qualification;
- has experience of planning and delivering whole class lessons;
- has an excellent subject knowledge of the National Curriculum;
- has excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- has high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour;
- is a team player who develops good working relationships with colleagues;
- is committed to working in close partnership with parents, Governors and the wider community.
