Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a Welder Fabricator to work in Runcorn
Job Details:
• Pay: £16.00 per hour (Overtime paid at x1.5)
• Hours of Work: 8:00am – 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 3:00pm Friday (37.5 hours)
• Duration: Temp to Perm
Job Role: The Welder Fabricator will be responsible for welding and fabricating bespoke steel components within a busy workshop environment. Duties include MIG and TIG welding, working from technical drawings, and using workshop machinery to cut and shape materials. The Welder Fabricator will also be expected to carry out quality checks to ensure all finished products meet required standards. This Welder Fabricator role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and workmanship.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment as a Welder Fabricator
• Proven ability in MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong experience in steel fabrication
• C&G/NVQ or equivalent in Fabrication & Welding
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
• Previously coded in MIG or TIG welding
• Experience within the roller shutter or doors industry
