Driver - Ferrying Work | South Killingholme | £12.71-£14.97 per hour
GI Group UK is recruiting Drivers for ferrying operations with a leading automotive logistics client based in South Killingholme.
Role Overview:
- Location: South Killingholme
- Pay: £12.71 to £14.97 per hour shift dependant
- Shift Patterns: 7am-4pm, 12pm-9pm and 9pm-6am on a rotational basis based on site needs and role.
- Days: Site work Monday to Saturday so weekend availability is required
- Type: ongoing assignments based on site volume
Key Responsibilities:
- Ferrying: Relocating vehicles around the compound and transferring between compounds on the client site.
- Following instructions from team leaders on site to park correctly on-site.
- Walking is involved in this role due to working on the compound.
- Complete vehicle checks around each vehicle and report any issues
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (category B)
- Licence held for minimum 2 years
- Up to 3 points on licence, subject to endorsement code
- 22 years of age and over due to insurance
- Confidence driving various vehicles (Electric, manual and automatic)
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliability and flexibility
- Own vehicle due to remote location
