Summary

Moat Foundation Support Officer – Community Investment

Salary: £6,342 - £7,927 per annum plus a Car Allowance of £466 per annum

Location: Flexible working across any of our offices in Kent (Ashford or Dartford), London (Pollards Hill) or Essex (Maldon)

Contract: 2 year fixed term

Hours: 7 hours per week, worked flexibly over one or two days

About the Role

As our Moat Foundation Support Officer (Community Investment), you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of the Moat Foundation Delivery Plan. You’ll help build strong stakeholder relationships, gather valuable insights, and ensure we communicate our impact effectively. A key focus of this role will be driving the development and coordination of our community volunteer programme, helping us unlock the power of volunteering across our Hubs and regions.



You will:

Lead on collating and presenting high-quality stakeholder reports that demonstrate the impact of the Moat Foundation Delivery Plan.
Drive the development, organisation and promotion of our community volunteer programme.
Support the creation and coordination of internal and external communications.
Provide insight, research and information that enhances our understanding of our customers and communities, strengthening the impact of our work.
Maintain strong, practical knowledge of our Hubs and local areas, providing on-the-ground support where needed.
Work with local teams to gather accurate data, photographs, case studies and success stories that evidence our impact and inform future development.
Support the development of effective stakeholder relationships including other housing associations, funders, industry professionals and project partners.


You’ll have:

Excellent communication and administrative skills, with an understanding of Community Investment or the housing sector.
A passion for excellence and the ability to inspire community volunteers, colleagues and partners.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to confidently represent Moat Foundation to a variety of audiences.
Good numeracy, literacy and computer skills, with the ability to use MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and produce clear, concise reports informed by data.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative and creativity to tackle community issues with tailored solutions.
Experience in frontline customer service, stakeholder relationships, data collection and reporting.
Access to your own car.
A willingness to work outside of standard office hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet community needs.
