Job Opportunity: Catering & Hospitality Assistant
We are looking for a dedicatedCatering & Hospitality Assistantto support our commitment to excellence in service. As part of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless service delivery, proactively responding to client and business needs, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective relationships within the company and with clients, understanding priorities and ensuring clear communication regarding any changes.
- Respond proactively to requirements from colleagues or clients, seeking necessary information from other areas of the business.
- Identify areas for service improvement or best practice, taking appropriate action to remedy or share.
- Adhere to all company and client policies, including statutory Health & Safety regulations, safe food handling, hygiene, cleanliness, fire safety, and COSHH procedures.
- Remain aware of workplace hazards and follow guidelines for identification and reporting.
Main Assignments
- Deliver exceptional service by understanding and meeting client and company needs.
- Support seamless communication across departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all aspects of catering operations.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices.
Ideal Candidate
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in food handling and hospitality service
- Barista skills are a plus
- Ability to adhere to all Health & Safety practices
- Strong customer service focus
- High-level performance, reliability, and professionalism
- Excellent personal hygiene and presentation
