Summary


We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work within Essex Wellbeing Services delivering advice and support to those wanting to stop smoking.

We promote a range of different methods of supporting people which includes virtual interventions, telephone support and community events.

The postholder will be based at home but is required to travel to the areas covered by the locality team in North, West, Mid and South Essex. when required.

The postholder will be required to work as part of a locality-based team providing support and intervention to adults looking to make changes to their health and wellbeing. To deliver evidence-based stop smoking interventions, these could include one to one, drop in, group sessions, telephone, or on-line support, these must be in accordance with the NCSCT Standard Treatment Programme.


You will be required to engage with Service Users and provide smoking cessation advice and support to smokers in the community, using both Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and behavioural change techniques.
