Summary

Care Assistant / Support Worker – Community Living Opportunities (Full-Time, Part-Time & Relief)

Location: Coatbridge, Airdrie, Motherwell, Wishaw and surrounding North Lanarkshire areas (ML1–ML7)
Pay: £12.60 per hour (£24,307.66 annually)
Night Rate: £13.23 per hour
Hours: Up to 37 hours per week
Contract Types: Full-time, part-time, relief and weekend- only roles available

Capability Scotland is looking for dedicated Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our North Lanarkshire Care at Home and Supported Living services.

This position involves supporting adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own homes and within their local communities, helping them enjoy meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Our approach is different from many care providers with a minimum of 4-hour visits, you’ll have the time to build genuine connections and provide high-quality, person-centred support.

Please note: this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship.

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide support with personal care, medication, and daily living tasks
Encourage independence and community involvement
Assist with meal preparation, household duties, appointments, and social activities
Develop positive and respectful relationships with the people you support

About You

Previous experience in care is not essential we provide full training and ongoing support.

Essential Criteria

Full UK driving licence
Access to a vehicle (due to travel between services)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts
Important Requirement
