Summary

Manager / Senior Manager - HR - Perm - London

Salary starting from £45,000 + depending on experience

We are recruiting a Senior Manager to lead one of our high performing HR desks, specialising in senior level appointments across the Financial Services, Professional Services and Insurance sectors. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to join a warm, high value desk. It has existing established relationships, which you will have the opportunity to benefit from. There is also strong PSL access, whereby you will deepen relationships to maximise upon the opportunity that those PSLs provide. The client portfolio is enviable, including Magic Circle law firms and US investment banks. In addition to this, there is an expectation that the successful individual will use their commercial acumen to business develop, build new relationships and win new customer's.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of three permanent consultants
  • Create a high-performance culture focused on quality, delivery and long-term relationships
  • Collaborate strongly with internal stakeholders and the temp counterpart
  • Client & Relationship Management
  • Own and grow relationships across FTSE 500s, global firms and scaling SMEs
  • Build on existing PSLs, exclusive agreements, and retained partnerships
  • Host and attend industry events
  • Fill senior and strategic roles (e.g Chief People Officer, HR leadership)
  • Maintain an average placement fee of £27k
  • Leverage relationships to secure downstream and additional hiring demand

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience as an Financial Services or HR recruiter
  • People management experience - leading and developing a team
  • A relationship led approach to sales and client engagement
  • Confidence managing longer, consultative sales cycles
  • Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and shape hiring strategy
  • A mindset that recognises and believes in the opportunity of a high-potential desk
  • Strong collaboration skills - this environment is not siloed or midmarket in style
