We’re working with a well-established, purpose-built small animal hospital in Margate to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon. The Role
This is a varied position offering exposure to both medical and surgical cases. You’ll play a key role in delivering high standards of clinical care, working closely with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a diverse caseload of small animal patients
Carrying out routine and more advanced surgical procedures
Delivering clear, compassionate client communication
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Supporting clinical excellence and continuous improvement
About You
We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is confident, adaptable, and enjoys working in a busy, team-driven environment.
You will:
Be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS registered or eligible)
Have strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Be comfortable balancing gold-standard care with practical client considerations
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Thrive in a collaborative and supportive team culture

Competitive salary of £58,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)
