Summary
Role Purpose Reporting to the Digital Product Lead, we are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior .NET Developer to join our Digital team. In this role, you'll join a team working on green field projects and contribute to building secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications that support healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to own delivery and influence standards across the full stack whilst making a meaningful and noticeable impact to Primary Eyecare Service. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Working in an Agile team, guide and assist in the design, development and maintenance of a C# .NET-based greenfield healthcare application. Collaborate with clinical leads and stakeholders to understand ambiguous problems and user needs then translate them into elegant software solutions or designs. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry and healthcare compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, Data Protection Act, NHS IG). Provide day-to-day technical mentorship of Junior and Mid-level developers. Conduct thoughtful code reviews, testing, and debugging of applications. Where necessary, pair up with more junior members. Design, develop and support integrations with NHS FHIR and third-party APIs. Stay informed about healthcare technology trends and regulatory requirements.
