Summary
The post holder will ensure that GP referrals are processed and booked appropriately to best meet the needs of the patients who are starting on their cancer journey. This includes the booking of first appointment include virtual/ face to face appointment or diagnostic tests. The post holder will be responsible for the validation of patients on a cancer waits pathway, ensuring that first appointment adjustments are accurately recorded and all information is correct on the system prior to monthly cancer waits submission.
