Job Overview
-Provide day‑to‑day porterage and basic handyman support to ensure the CDC operates safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Act as a key support role for clinical teams, facilities management, and the client.
Main Duties
-Complete PPM tasks (planned and reactive) as instructed
-Move supplies and equipment across the site to required locations
-Manage waste streams, including:
-General waste
-Clinical waste
-Biological waste (if applicable)
Handle patient samples (e.g. blood samples), where required
-Manage linen and laundry processes
-Manage deliveries, parcels, and post,
-Carry out basic handyman tasks to support site presentation and functionality
-Maintain outdoor areas, including:
-General upkeep
-Gritting in cold weather, when required
-Support reactive cleaning requests when needed
