We are seeking a CDM Coordinator to support the development and continuous improvement of health, safety, environmental and quality management systems in line with the OneISS Way.

​This role is central to promoting a strong safety and compliance culture, ensuring that safe systems of work and risk management practices are fully embedded across operations.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the UK&I Project team, supporting a major infrastructure programme for a government client across a portfolio of approximately 800 sites nationwide.​

The role plays a key part in delivering a safe, reliable and high-quality service, reinforcing ISS’s reputation for safety-focused facilities support.

Key Responsibilities

Review and approve RAMS, identifying anomalies and ensuring suitability for works

Issue Authority to Work and Permits to Work in line with agreed procedures

Carry out risk assessments and on-site health & safety audits, including contractor spot checks

Provide practical, proactive HSEQ/CDM advice to operational and project teams

Coordinate designers and contractors in accordance with CDM Regulations

Prepare and support PCI/PCC documentation and the Health & Safety File

Support the rollout and ongoing compliance of HSEQ/CDM plans across operations

Use reporting tools to log activity, identify risk trends and drive safety improvements

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar CDM, HSEQ or safety role within Projects or Facilities Management (essential)

IOSH Managing Safely certification (essential)

CITB CDM qualification

SSSTS or SMSTS certification

Strong understanding of HSEQ management systems and CDM Regulations

Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards

Proven ability to identify, assess and manage operational risks

Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels

Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrates a clear commitment to embedding a safety-first culture

UK driving licence required, with flexibility to travel to sites for audits
